Project64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows proprietary. It uses a system of plug-ins that allow third-party software developers to create its own implementation of certain components. Project64 allows users to play Nintendo 64 games on the computer by reading the ROM image, well removed from the read-only memory or a Nintendo 64 cartridge is made directly on the computer as a homebrew.
The original release of the emulator is to run on Windows 98.
